“Voters in Fairfax, Va., stand in a long line to cast their ballots for the November presidential election on the state’s first day of early voting on Friday. Some people waited in line for up to four hours.” (Washington Post, September 18, 2020)

  1. Thank you for posting that article! When I see the pictures and read the article, I have hope that yes, we, the United States of America, are going to vote this SOB OUT of the White House and his enablers OUT of the senate. And then the next day, I’m depressingly convinced that all is lost and tRump will rule for another four, eight, twelve years. It’s an emotional, up and down circus ride. Damn, I’m tired of it all, as I know everyone else is. Just when you think things can’t get any worse, RBG dies. It is a dark hour.

So, thank you, Leslie, for this post. Thank you so much. It reminds us of our last defense: the vote.

    1. Oh, Paul, I can’t thank you enough for you heartfelt comment! I well understand the emotional tumult you describe. It is the saddest of days that our beloved RBG died, and all I can think to do is vote. Best,
